Scout badge FAQ:

When do you host scouting events?

Each week changes our availability and it is helpful to reserve your day at least a month in advance if you are very specific about days/times, but we can also accommodate one week in advance dependent.

What can I expect from project lead activities?

We take pride in our scout projects. We design each to be fun, but also educational as we are advocates for creativity through art education and want to empower children to get excited about their art any way we can. Earning a badge is important to your scouts and to us!

How much are Scout Events?

Our art curriculum for Scout badges is thoughtfully curated, designed specifically to you and your group’s desires. Each is unique. We charge a base of $250 for up to 8 children and $35 for each participant which includes; a teacher, 40-45 minutes of guided instruction, all supplies, and special packaging for those who are meeting virtually (shipping is an additional fee)

For those interested in virtual options…My child doesn’t do well on Zoom are they really going to enjoy a virtual troop meet-up!?

YES! We understand that children are on zoom or screens more than we ever would have imagined (or desired), but we promise that this experience is so above and beyond what they have experienced before! We laugh, engage, ignite excitement with our approach to all things art. Our teachers aren’t just doing a step-by-step project, we are instilling the love of creating and education…all while enjoying time with their Scout friends. It is a definite memory maker!

Who we are:

Do Art’s mission is to give children a voice through art-making. No other curriculum allows a child to explore, from the point of the unknown to a point of completion, learning art techniques while working through mistakes and problem solving, resulting in higher self-confidence, awareness, and leadership skills.

Do Art is unique in its’ teaching approach to all art projects and introduction to art materials. Our curriculum is progressive, child-initiated, and thought-provoking. How to teach the whole child and honor each as the individuals they are is a pretty special way of teaching. We provide growth in children through honoring ideas, executing dream designs, guidance through questions to engage problem-solving, build creative thought processes through mistake-making, and celebrate collaboration.
